Trevor is 9 months old!

Trevor is 9 months old already!
At 9 months, Trevor:
- is getting so big!  I haven't weighed him in a few weeks, but last I checked, he was over 23 pounds!  His well baby exam is on Tuesday so we'll see what his measurements are then.
- wears size 12 month clothes.
- has 5 teeth and the 6th will probably be pushing through very soon.
- eats stage 2 and 3 baby foods, baby cereal, and breastmilk.  He likes to grab a spoon and chew on it, but he isn't quite accomplishing feeding himself yet.  When nursing (or just being held), he has become a bad biter and has made me consider stopping nursing and just pupming.  However, I don't particularly like pumping and I enjoy the snuggle time we get while feeding, so I'll stick it out a while longer.  Wow, are those little teeth sharp though!
- tried out baby food with some texture today and really disliked it.  Check out this funny video of him making faces at the new textured food I tried giving him.

- crawls quite quickly.
- loves to stand.  Pulls to a stand on just about anything he can find.
- can climb up the whole flight of stairs (with Mommy hovering very closely behind still).
- plays peek a boo!  He will hide behind a throw pillow and pull it up and down and giggle when he peeks out, or will hold on to the coffee table, squat down to hide behind the edge, then peek over the top.  Very cute!
- walks along furniture and even transfers from holding on to the couch to holding on to the table by letting go of one, standing by himself briefly before grabbing the other.
- uses anything that will slide as walker (boxes, step stools, kitchen table chairs, etc.).
- loves to play with toys and chew on anything he can get in his mouth.
- likes his pacifier, but much of the time, he chews on the side of it rather than sucking the pacifier part.
- is starting to sleep much better.  We had a pretty rough time a few weeks back. He would barely ap at all despite being very tired and really needing it.  He now is sleeping through the night more consistently (though he still wakes up and squawks about once a night, but settles back in when he gets his pacifier back and I rub his back for a minute or two while he settles back down in his crib).  He is starting to get back into taking at least 1 good nap a day.
- is talking more.  Uses his voice frequently and starting to say more "words."  He says "Mama" specifically for me.  He says "dada" sometimes, but not frequently.  More often, it is "gaga" or some other related sound.
- is enamored with his big brother. Austin can just run around and be a total goofball and Trevor is enchanted.  He giggles at his brother more than anybody or anything else.
- is so so precious to us! We are blessed to be his family!

Fun photos...

His monthly photos in his rocking chair...

It is quite tricky to try and get his photos in the rocking chair these days, because as soon as I put him in the chair, squirming, climbing, and diving over the edge ensues.
My sweetie baby!
