I've been playing with my camera lately...and look at the gorgeous photo of Trevor I got!
And some little toes too.
More to follow...Anyway, my precious baby boy is over 2 weeks old now and is growing so fast! We popped in to clinic for his 2 week old well baby check up on Tuesday (when he was 12 days old actually, not fully 2 weeks yet) and he was 9 lbs 13 oz! Growing well! He unfortunately had thrush then, too, so he has had to take medication four times a day for the past week. He really dislikes it, but he takes it well most of the time.
He has more awake and alert time each day.
And Sarah has been a good big sister, loving on Trevor all day long while Austin is at school.
I got a chance to play around with the nice camera...different lenses, settings, etc. What better subject than my cutie baby? Here are some of the fun shots I got...
Check out the double chin now.
Little fingers...
And little toes.
Sleepy faces.
Then I made an attempt at getting a little artistic. Trevor was totally asleep one afternoon and we had some pretty natural light coming in through the big window. I got a fuzzy blanket and made a little nest on the coffee table and snapped some photos. I played around with editing and used some antique finish at times. How precious he is! So small, sweet, and snuggly!
Now some fun videos from the past few weeks...
Austin and Sarah having a race on the driveway with their bike/trike.
Austin and Sarah tackling Daddy, pretending they are "angry birds". The funniest part is watching Sarah insist that they are not "happy birds" but "angry birds."
Austin is very proud that he can now do the monkey bars at the park all by himself.
This one is a bit long, but it shows Austin and Sarah watching the ND vs. Navy game from Dublin on TV. Sarah was SO excited to watch ND football this year. It was really quite adorable watching her get excited about seeing the team on the TV screen, watching anxiously as plays develop, cheering for touchdowns, and providing an ongoing chatter commenting on the plays. Too cute! She is definitely a big fan! (Sorry for a little bit of repetition. The first segment said it didn't record because my iPhone was out of space, so some of the commentary is repeated in the 2nd segment of the video.)
