We've been having fun playing and giggling...not to mention having lots of tea parties!
Sarah is getting so big!
Austin and Sarah have their share of spats, but they play together pretty nicely at times too.
They had fun tickling each other...
And squealing and running from tickle monster Mommy!
Sarah is pretty obsessed with Cookie Monster these days. She and Austin like to sing the "C is for Cookie" song and dance around.
Smiles all around.
Then watching Notre Dame Football with Nanny!
GO IRISH!
Touchdown!
On Sunday, we had more tea parties.
Austin showed us his muscles.
Then time to carve some pumpkins for Halloween!
Michelle and Brian took on some Notre Dame pumpkins, and Brian was particularly ambitious tackling the leprechaun pumpkin. He pulled it off pretty impressively, but I didin't get a very good picture of the outcome to post.
Austin chose a funny face to carve (with Mommy's help).
Sarah was pretty excited about the tiger pumpkin Daddy was carving to match Austin's costume.
Then Sarah helped Mommy carve her Cookie Monster pumpkin.
Sarah was so excited about the pumpkins that when she ate dinner, she insisted on seeing them...so much so, that we finally put the pumpkins on the table by her while she ate. She even fed her cookie to the pumpkins.Check out the video of the cuteness....
Once we got the kids to bed, we finished up the rest of the pumpkin carving. Here are the results.
The funny face on the left is Austin's choice, the Cookie Monster is for Sarah, the tiger is to match Austin's costume, and the welcome scarecrow is to welcome the trick or treaters. Steve carved the 2 on the right and I carved the 2 on the left.
Trick-or-Treat Time!
Sarah checking out her Cookie Monster pumpkin.
Austin with his matching tiger pumpkin.
The kids did a great job trick-or-treating. Auntie Michelle came with us and the kids had a blast. Austin was too quick getting from one house to the next for me to get a picture of him, but he did a great job of saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" at each house. And lastly...a bit of sass from our little princess. Recently, Austin has thought it would be funny to say "Are you kidding me?" Well, he taught Sarah that choice phrase and when she popped up out of the blue with "Mommy, are you kidding me?" at supper the other night, it was definitely hilarious.
