We had another ultrasound of Baby Girl on Wednesday. She is doing great! She is growing perfectly and is still about 1 week ahead in size. Above is the photo we got of her profile. Such a cute little nose and pouty lips. She is getting SO BIG! It is amazing to see how much she has grown! We even could see that she's already got a full head of hair! Amazing views...I had no idea you could see baby's hair on the ultrasound, but we could! She is so cute! Can't wait to meet her...well I guess I can wait a little longer. She's not quite ready to come out yet.The cyst in her pelvis is still there, but seems to pretty stable from previously. It has not grown any more than she has and still doesn't have any extra blood flow to it or any other associated anomalies, so it is likely nothing problematic. We'll most likely check up on it next with an ultrasound of her pelvis after she is born.
We just hit 32 weeks yesterday, so we're now within 8 weeks of due date! Woohoo! Time is flying and we're excited to meet our baby girl in January. I'm getting plenty big and fairly uncomfortable, but we're thrilled she's doing so well and are happy that the early trouble with the abruption has settled down.
Austin is still pretty excited for baby sister to arrive. He still gives my belly kisses and talks about when baby sister will come out. The other day, he found a newborn pacifier in the back of his top drawer, behind his socks. We found him in the bathroom, with the pacifier in his mouth, grinning at himself in the mirror and making funny faces while sucking on the pacifier.
I hope you are all doing well in this busy time approaching the holidays. I will be working right up through Christmas Eve, but hopefully will be off for Christmas Day. It is already starting to look like Christmas outside as we have had some snow flurries the past few days, making everything powdery white. Happy Holidays!
