Merry Chester Christmas!

Michelle and Brian are heading to New York to celebrate Christmas with his family (the Chesters) this year, so we gathered at mom and dad's for an early Christmas celebration with them.

Michelle and Brian with Dorothy.
Uncle Greg demonstrating the "no paparazzi" pose.
Working on the bilz box maze...the traditional Brintnall family stocking stuffer that turns into a competition every year.
Beer glasses...and I don't mean the ones you drink from.
Uncle Brian blowing napkins at Austin (one of Austin's favorite dinner time diversions - and a good way to bribe him to eat dinner).
Nanny got Austin an early Christmas present...
A hat just like Mr. Peter and one of the recent favorites at story time, "Caps for Sale."After Austin went to bed, we stayed up late making our family Christmas cookies...it took a while because we were experimenting with a new sugar cookie recipe, but we, of course, use the family recipe for buttercream frosting (the BEST part)!

Austin was a little wiped out by the next day since he was so wired on Friday night that he didn't fall asleep until around 11pm. Here he is snuggling with Grandpa in his jammies watching the beginning of "Cars."
On Sunday, Austin got a haircut and then headed back to Nanny and Grandpa's to see Ann and John who came to visit! John is now 15 months old, but Austin still calls him "baby John."

John was a little wary of us at first, but warmed up to us after a few minutes. I got some cute photos of John playing...
Isn't he adorable?

Austin and John enjoyed the sugar cookies...We got John all sugared up and then sent him home to his daddy. Sorry Phil!

Then back to Rochester Sunday night and back to work today. Christmas is approaching fast! In all the hustle and bustle, don't forget the reason for the season...a little baby who came to change the world!

A little more fun...
