Update on Baby Girl

It has been a few days of ups and downs for sure! I have felt pretty yucky some days, and OK the others. I'm still on activity restrictions and out of work. We went in for another appointment today, and my restrictions and time out of work was extended. Baby girl is still looking good, so that is reassuring for now. On the other hand, the abruption has not changed - no better, no worse. We're just stuck where we're at for now. I continue to bleed intermittently (sorry if that's more info than you wanted to know, but that's what life is about for us right now). I still have moments when I'm terrified I'm going to lose my baby and others when I'm sure it will all just blow over and we'll have a healthy happy baby at the end of all the hassle. Please continue to send prayers our way. We're certainly not out of the woods yet and we have a long way to go before baby girl is viable, much less full term.

We got one picture today on ultrasound. It shows a great shot of her arm from shoulder to hand, with the head on the left of the picture.

Also, today I bought PINK! We made a quick jaunt to Target to stock up on milk, since we go through it a lot quicker now that I'm home. While there, I got to pick out a pretty little pink outfit for my baby girl. I've been quite excited to be able to shop on the girly side of the baby section and now I have an excuse! My worry for the outcome of this pregnancy caused some hesitation earlier this week, but I'm not going to let those negative thoughts seep into the joy we have in anticipation of welcoming a beautiful baby girl into our family. So here it is...the first little girl outfit I purchased for my baby.

lisa- you are all in my thoughts and prayers- i am sorry to hear that the abruption isn't getting better- but i am overjoyed that it is not worse, and that your baby girl is doing well.
i also applaud you for buying pink. i think it is so important to stay positive. there were times i was unsure if i wanted to buy luke bigger clothes.... but i did because i believe you have to have faith...
and i am so glad i did-
because now he is wearing the clothes i bought-
and i know your baby girl will too:)
love,
megs
