Kiddie Pool and Dinner Games

We blew up Austin's kiddie pool for him today. It was about 90 degrees and very humid out. We were playing outside and Austin was getting really warm and cranky, but didn't want to come inside, so we got out the water toys. First we tried his new Nemo sprinkler, but it kinda scared him when it spun around and splashed him with water. Then we got out his kiddie pool. While he was playing in the front yard, I got out the pool and the air pump and started to blow it up. The sound of the air pump freaked out Austin, so I took Austin inside to cool off and get fresh pants while daddy blew up the pool. We went out to get it set up and as soon as we started putting water in, Austin jumped in, clothes, shoes, and all. We took his shoes off and let him play for a while, then later changed him into his swim trunks and swimming diaper. He had lots of fun sliding down the slide and pouring water from one bucket or bowl into another.

Austin was playing games at dinner time, so I grabbed the video camera to capture how cute he was being. We also got him to show off some of his words. He has about a 25-30 word vocabulary now, though some are more understandable than others.
