Last year for Halloween, we did things a bit differently due to the pandemic. We got candy from Minnesota's Largest Candy Store, decorated the house, set out candy for Trick or Treaters and then hunkered down with treats and a Halloween movie as a family. We really enjoyed it and the kids wanted to do the same this year, with the exception of still wanting to hand out candy to Trick or Treaters at the door instead of setting out candy.
Austin dressed up for school. He was Clark Kent.
The Metro Peds Shakopee staff got dressed up.
Trevor dressed up as Magus (from an old video game Daddy introduced him to. He also plays the soundtrack on the piano!). He did a Halloween puzzle with me while Daddy got the decorations put up out front.
Some of our decorations Steve put up...
Bubbling cauldron
Steve carved the pumpkins this year as the cereal characters - Boo Berry, Frankenberry, and Count Chocula!
Dismembered hand, coffin locked with a dagger and tombstone, and a snake skeleton - lovely holiday, right?Sarah made pumpkin shaped applesauce cakes.
We watched Hotel Transylvania #2 (#1 was last year's movie) and then got the kids to bed (it was a school night, after all).
