How is it already June?

We last left off with the insanity of the April snowstorm weekend during which Sarah had a dance competition and her First Communion in one day!  Phew!  Made it through all that.  After that, we had...

More dance competitions!

Sarah and her team did a great job this year and they have recital week coming up next week, followed by Nationals in Branson, MO in a couple weeks.

Austin had his spring band and choir concert and did a great job playing his saxophone and singing some fun songs!
Austin is great with little kids and enjoyed holding Quinn while at Theo's birthday party. I didn't get any other pictures at the party because I was too busy doing Sarah's hair and makeup for her dance competition that weekend.

Trevor managed to lacerate his head AGAIN (other side this time) and had to get 4 staples in his scalp.
He was a trooper. Here he is enjoying his late-night popsicle after getting his staples done.

Once we made it past all the dance competitions, we had to wait out the weather (April snowstorm!) before we could get soccer going!  I have been truly awful at getting photos of Austin playing so far this year, but they play on a huge field now, so it is really hard to get photos of him so far away.  We also have had a lot of rainy or cold weather, so I haven't lugged my nice camera out to a game yet.  Here's the team picture (at least the part of the team that made it to photo day).

Trevor's preschool team is having fun learning soccer and Austin is volunteering with Trevor's team as an assistant coach.
Spectators.

For Mother's Day, we enjoyed brunch at the club.
The kids had fun on the driving range after brunch (while the mom were wondering how we ended up on the driving range on Mother's Day).
Then we headed up to Children's Theater Company to enjoy "The Lorax"

The next Tuesday, I got to chaperone Trevor's preschool class farm field trip.
Trevor got to climb up in the big tractor.
Check out how big those tires are!
Checking out the eggs in the chicken coop.
And petting a baby chick.
Then on to the cow barn - man is it stinky in there!
Then we got to go see the baby cows.
This one was only 3 hours old!
The cows seemed to enjoy licking and comping the kids' hands.
Then ice cream cones before heading back to school.

Sarah got all decked out in face paint at her friend Eleanor's birthday party.

Then Sarah and Trevor got to hang out with Nanny and Grandpa, while Austin, Steve, and I went to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater with Jenna, Michael, and Alexis for "Newsies".  The show was fantastic and we all had a blast!

The kids finished school on May 30th and we've gone full swing into the busy summer!  Austin has soccer and basketball camps, Sarah has dance, dance, and more dance, Trevor is in swimming, soccer, and basketball, and Austin and Sarah are starting piano lessons soon!  No time to get bored!
