We started with the banquet. Here is Sarah's team. They are the PDGs (Petite Dream Girls).
Team moms.
Sarah received her 5 year award because she has been dancing at CSDS for 5 years (though this includes 2 years of preschool dance, 1 year of recreational dance, and 2 years of competition). She also received the "Best Performance in Jazz" award.

Amidst all the craziness, I discovered that Trevor had a "shark tooth" (an adult tooth that erupted behind the existing tooth without displacing it, thus making rows of teeth like a shark).
The front one was loose enough for me to pull, so we pulled it out. This was Trevor's first lost tooth!
On to dress rehearsals...
Ready for finale at the dress rehearsal
On to recitals. This is the setup for our hair and makeup regimen before performances for recital or competitions.
Trish, Jenna, and Alexis came to see her Thursday recital.

Ready for her tap dance "Hokey Pokey"
Their tap teacher Julie got some shots of their tap performance from the side of the stage. Sarah is in the right side of most of these photos.

Backstage ready to go on for their jazz dance "Hold the Drama"
Fueling for recital #2
This year, Steve participated in the Daddy Daughter Dance with Sarah! They had a blast learning the dance throughout the year and they did a great job performing. The theme was "cops and robbers" and the girls were the law enforcement (police, SWAT, FBI, and CIA) and the dads were the robbers.(Steve and Sarah are in the back right of the big group parts and on the left for the petites only part).

Nice lift Daddy!
Daddy, Austin, and Trevor came to watch the Saturday recital with Nanny and Grandpa.
After the last recital, it is tradition to take the girls out to Bonfire. This time, the air conditioner had broken, so it was quite warm in there, but the kids had a blast.
Pics of each of the groups for Sarah's dances.

Jazz - "Hold the Drama"
Tap - "Hokey Pokey"
Junior Production - "A Dream Is A Wish"
The next morning was Father's Day. We got Daddy a funny cartoon book about parenting. Everybody got a good laugh out of it!
After recital, we moved on to the end of the soccer season for Trevor, nationals boot camp week for Sarah, and soccer games for Austin.
