Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter together.  First, the kids woke up ready to head downstairs for an egg hunt!
And they're off...
Trevor loves the dancing duck that sings "Splish Splash" and dances around.
He was very excited to find a Li'l Woodzeez bobble head in his Easter basket.
Sarah found her basket in her Dream Duffel that was out awaiting her next competition.
Easter baskets all found.  They got chocolates bunnies and crosses, jelly beans, other candy, toys, and books in their baskets.
The golden (or shiny) eggs are empty because Jesus' tomb was empty on Easter morning!
They each had their own color eggs to find.  Austin's were pretty tricky this year!
Then we had a quick breakfast and got everybody dressed for Mass.
After Mass, we headed to Grandpa's golf club for brunch and met the Easter Bunny!
Theo was having a grumpy morning and showed us lots of funny faces.
Our table was right by the dance floor where the Teddy Bear Band was playing. Trevor didn't want to wait on eating his brunch, but was definitely entertained from his seat.
He did get up and play for a bit.  Here he is making bunny ears.
Austin participated for a little while with a game throwing stuffed teddy bears. (As a side note, he needs some new pants! He has grown out of these pretty fast!)
Then we headed outside for an Easter egg hunt on the lawn and patio by the clubhouse.
Trevor was such a sweet heart!  He filled his bag with eggs and then started planting them in front of little kids or putting them in their baskets to share with them.
There's a smile from Theo!

Then we headed back to our house and the "Easter Nanny" brought gifts for the kids.
Sarah and Trevor got the Li'l Woodzeez hillside cottage they had been so eagerly hoping for.
Austin got a play bow that shoots foam "arrows".
Trevor had some Easter rubber duckies in his basket and he carried them around with him for days.
Two days after Easter, Austin had his spring choir concert.
He did a great job!  I had to go to a meeting that night, but I got to go to the dress rehearsal.  Here was part of a song we have been hearing Austin sing around the house.

They did a fun song about how great reading is and they held up pictures of book covers they mentioned in the song.  Very fun!

Up next...Sarah had another dance competition the next weekend.  Photos to come.
