Happy Halloween from Neverland!

The kids were very excited for Halloween this year!  Trevor is old enough to understand a little more what is going on and was practicing his "trick or treat!" before the big day.  The kids have enjoyed a show on Disney Junior lately called "Jake and the Neverland Pirates."  They also got to see the movie "Peter Pan" a few weeks ago.   They decided to have a Neverland theme this year with Austin being Captain Hook, Sarah being Tinkerbell, and Trevor being Jake.

Daddy likes to carve pumpkins to match each of the kids' costumes and did another amazing job again this year!
Sarah and Trevor wanted to help scoop out the pumpkin guts!
The final results were pretty awesome!
Complete with pixie dust for Tinkerbell!
Excited to go trick-or-treating!
(after putting on more layers of clothing, of course - it was 32 degrees out!)
Jake with his sword and spyglass and matching his pumpkin.
My little Tinkerbell!
And Captain Hook with the hook and all!
Theo came over for a few minutes, dressed as a pirate too!
Steve got the front of the house decorated and ready for trick-or-treaters.
Off to trick-or-treat with Nanny and Grandpa and Mommy.
The big kids were very sweet to wait for Trevor to keep up.  Trevor was very excited and went up to each house and said "trick-or-treat" then "thank you."  He insisted on walking and absolutely did not want to be carried or helped.  He did well and made it around a pretty big loop in our neighborhood before going inside and letting the big kids finish a loop around another part of the neighborhood.  Then we returned home frozen and ready for some yummy warm soup Nanny brought over.  The kids dumped their candy buckets and excitedly showed off what they got.
Trevor dug right in and stuffed about a whole little bag of goldfish into his cheeks!
The next day, Trevor wanted to put his costume on again, so we put it on him to play.  As soon as he had his costume on, he asked to go trick-or-treating, so we had to explain that we could only trick-or-treat on Halloween.  He said, "O-kaaaaay" and moved on to playing, but still thought that putting on his costume meant it was time for candy!

The kids had a fun Halloween and are looking forward to celebrating Austin's birthday next weekend!
