Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
This year, Austin dressed up as a Viking, Sarah was Rapunzel, and Trevor was a monkey.  Steve carved pumpkins to match each kid's costume.
Sarah was really excited to help Daddy with the pumpkins.  She scooped out the insides and started by squealing with delight and showing off her scooper when she got a seed out.  Austin was helping at the start, but lost interest quickly.  Sarah had a blast!
I got a gift from neighbors/patients of my mine for helping them out the other day...a Mr. Potato Head pumpkin kit.  Cute!
Auntie Michelle and Uncle Brian came over to trick or treat with us!
My little monkey! (He's been a little sick the last few days and not napping well, so he was pretty tired by the time the evening came around. He still had fun, though.)
Austin and Sarah showing off their costumes. Of course, Sarah's looks a little different when we put her winter coat under her princess dress!  This is Minnesota, after all!  Sarah's Rapunzel wig lasted only about 2 houses, despite putting it back on her head multiple times and bobby pinning it to her hair.  Oh well!
Running for the door!  So excited!
Trick or Treat!
Trevor trick or treated at some houses, was carried for part of the evening, and rode in his stroller for the rest.  Throughout almost the whole time, he held his pumpkin and wouldn't let anybody help him with it.
Afterward, the kids spread out their candy on the floor to check out what they go and choose a couple to eat for their dessert.  Trevor enjoyed a piece of chocolate, but mostly just had fun putting the candy in and out of the buckets.
Nanny and Grandpa are in Florida right now, but Nanny left some treats for the kids before her trip.
The kids had a blast and went to bed tired but happy!  Next week...Austin's birthday!  We've already been scheming his birthday cake.  We'll see how it goes!
