For the 3rd year, we gathered as a family at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge for a fun family weekend. Kevin, Keng, and Owen flew in from California!
Owen is now 15 months old and is much bigger than the last time I saw him almost a year ago!

Wednesday night we got to see them for dinner, then Thursday morning, they came over to play! The kids all had lots of fun!
Soccer star!
Nanny is in heaven - her 2 littlest grandbabies by her side.
On Thursday evening, we met up with Tracie (of Tracie Bea Photographie) and she took family photos for us. The preview shots I've seen so far are fantastic. More to come soon!
Owen had fun walking up and down the ramp and stairs on the deck.
Nanny got some swinging time with 3 of the grandbabies.
We got to pick up the jet ski on Friday afternoon and keep it all day Saturday. Once again, Austin loved it. The temps were a little cooler over this weekend though, so he got too cold to stay on the jet ski the whole day!
Trevor is such a mellow baby on the boat. He just sits still and relaxes without a fuss.
We had dinner at the lodge and enjoyed some time catching up with the Casey's, who blessed us by joining us for the weekend!
We had a yummy breakfast in the morning, then more fun!
Nanny brought a sand table for the little people to play with.
On Saturday, it was Jenny's 35th birthday! We are so blessed that she chose to share her birthday weekend with us! We celebrated her with some special cupcakes on Saturday. Then we headed back out on the water for some boating, tubing, and other fun!
Sarah was absolutely terrified of going on the boat the first day, but we managed to get her on the boat and calmed down the first day, and she was actually enjoying it and helping Grandpa drive the boat by the 2nd day.
Owen wasn't sure about the boat at first either, but he warmed up to the idea pretty quickly.
On the boat is the only time I can get Trevor to leave a hat on his head for more than 2.4 seconds.Jenny and I went tubing and enjoyed reminiscing about our many summer weeks/weekends up at Lake Vermillion when we were kids.
Michelle got some water skiing in.
Brian showed off his slalom skiing skills!
Saturday morning, Trevor was up early, so while everybody else was snoozing, Trevor and I went for some long walks on the resort grounds. When Grandpa and Michelle and Brian woke up, we walked down to the lodge and Grandpa got some coffee. Trevor decided his empty cup was really exciting! (thought it looks like he's chugging coffee!).
When everybody got up and rolling Sunday morning, we packed up our cabins to check out, then had some more fun before heading home. Part of the family went out on the boat to get some more water skiing in, while Kevin and Keng and I stayed on shore with the babies. We hit up the playground, the beach, and even the blue ox.
Meanwhile on the boat, Sarah was excited to drive.
Before heading home, we have made it a tradition to stop at the ice cream shop. We got some delicious ice cream, then said our goodbyes, hopped in the car, and headed for home.
Even Trevor got in on the ice cream!
On Monday, Nanny had our local extended family and friends over so they could see Kevin, Keng, and Owen before they headed back to California.
Christopher is getting so tall!
Giggles with my sweet nephew!
Happy babies!
We absolutely loved getting to see Kevin, Keng, and Owen, and also getting to spend the weekend with the Caseys! Hopefully, it won't be another year before we see them all again! We've got a busy next few weeks coming up, so stay tuned!
