Trevor is 10 months old!

Trevor turns 10 months old today!  He is growing so fast!

At 10 months old, Trevor...
- is over 23 pounds (he was 23 pounds 4 ounces at his 9 month old checkup a few weeks ago).
- wears size 12 month clothing.
- is very busy!
- crawls quickly (especially when he sees the pantry door open - he races over there to try to get in and pull things off the shelf)
- pulls to a stand on just about everything, including my pant leg.
- cruises (walks along holding on to furniture).
- uses anything he can as a walker (he pushes around boxes, high highchair, toys, etc around walking behind them).
- can walk with his hands held and can even walk across the room only holding one hand.
- says "Hi, Dada!" and "Uh oh!" and lots of "Mama!"
- growls and giggles (and learned from his big brother how to spit - thanks Austin).
- wiggly for feedings and would rather get down and play most of the time.
- loves to finger feed puffs, bits of bread, crackers, or other soft foods.  Likes to hold his spoon and dip it in his food, but doesn't put it in his mouth consistently.
- likes to throw things (food, toys, etc.)
- sleeps pretty well.  Naps 1-2 times during the day and goes to bed like a champ now.  He typically is asleep by around 8-8:30pm and wakes up around 6am.  Poor baby's sleep schedule for naps is sometimes highjacked by big brother and big sister's sports and activities.
- hates his car seat, but after fussing for a while, will turn his face into the headrest and fall asleep.
- likes to swing at the park.
- plays peek a boo (especially with whoever is behind us a church - he ducks down behind the back of the pew, then pops up and smiles at them).
- waves.  He actually turns his palm toward him and waves, but he is pretty consistent in doing it in response to someone else waving at him.
- adores his big brother and will crack up at any silly antics or even just a big smile from his big brother.
- has 8 teeth and still bites a LOT still!  I have bruises all up and down my arms and shoulders from him biting me throughout the day.  He also bites more sensitive areas (like when he's nursing! ouch!).
- is a tough cookie!  When he got his shots at his 9 mo well baby visit, he didn't even flinch when he got his first shot.  He also took a header out of the shopping cart at Target with Daddy a couple weeks ago and came out with nothing more than a bruise on his forehead!
- is a momma's boy, and will wrap his arms around my neck, settle his head on my shoulder and give me a big snuggle hug!  It is short lived, since he is very shortly wanting to get down and play again, but I'll take all the snuggles I can get.

On to the monthly photos in his rocking chair...
Cooperating briefly.
Then wiggling away...
Smiles in his crib.
Before we know it, we'll be celebrating his 1st birthday! This year is flying by!
