Soccer, T-ball, and Father's Day!

Austin has been LOVING soccer this year!  Here is his team photo...

He's got a great cheering section at his games!
Sarah and Uncle Brian hanging out watching the game.
 And Auntie Michelle too.
You know it is kids' soccer when you have time outs for coaches to help tie shoes!
Austin has really been improving in his ball handling skills and has been scoring goals like crazy!  We've seen such a difference and quite a bit of development since he played last year.  It is so fun to see him enjoying it so much and getting so enthusiastic about soccer!
 Scoring another goal!
For Father's Day, Nanny and Grandpa had us over for dinner.  Nanny and I made cupcakes for the dads.  We made little lawnmower cupcakes and golf hole cupcakes.
They were delicious and even Trevor got to enjoy a bit of the cake too!
Grandpa with his grand babies!

Austin also just started T-ball practice!  He has never played baseball or T-ball formally before and he is very excited to learn.  Here, he and his team are learning to run the bases.
Sarah entertains herself during practice by digging in the dirt. That's my princess!
Learning to swing the bat...
And fielding and throwing...
What do you think, Uncle Hal?  Has he got some potential?

 Team photo.
Sadly, Austin's T-ball is on Monday and Wednesday mornings while I'm at work, so I don't get to watch.  He tells me all about it when I get home and Steve took these photos for me to see what he's up to.  : )

 More soccer...
 Celebrating a goal!
Sarah showing Grandpa a book they made for him (full of drawings and little "all about Grandpa" templates the kids filled out).
Cheering section!  Yes, we're that family!  Big, loud, enthusiastic family!  Luckily, Austin isn't embarrassed by us yet!
Sarah has fun playing with Austin's old soccer ball on the sidelines during Austin's game.
She found a sibling of one of Austin's teammates to play with and recruited Uncle Brian as well.  It was 3 on 1 (1 being Nanny) and Sarah insisted on a "HUDDLE!!" then looked very serious while telling her teammates what to do!
That's about all that we've been up to lately. Austin and Sarah are also enrolled in the summer session of swimming lessons and are both doing great!  Poor Trevor just gets dragged along to all these practices, games, and lessons, but he's going to have to just get used to it, because I'm sure it is not going to get better any time soon.  The perils of being the 3rd child, I suppose!  Sarah is also going to start dance lessons either this summer or in the fall.  She has lately been pretending to play "dance lessons" and teaches her bears how to dance, so I figured it may be time to check out some dance lessons for her.  She is very excited!  Life just keeps getting busier and busier!
