Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!
We enjoyed celebrating Easter as a family and managed to have a relatively low key day.  We started with Easter egg and Easter basket hunts at home (indoors this year! brrr!) as soon as the kids got up.
The Easter Bunny left a note on these 6 foot tall blow up bunnies (from Gramma and PopPop last year) and the note told them they had to go get Mommy and Daddy up before going downstairs to find their Easter goodies.
The Easter Bunny also left a note downstairs saying that this year, each child had their own colored eggs to find.  Austin's eggs were blue and yellow.  Sarah's were pink and purple. Trevor's were green and orange.  This kept Austin from grabbing all the easy to find eggs before Sarah got a chance.  They actually each helped each other out finding their eggs (Sarah even found some of the hardest ones of Austin's and found his basket for him).  Brilliant idea on the colors, Bunny!
Trevor crawled over to his eggs, explored them, then chewed on them.
Sarah was pretty excited about the contents of her basket!

Then a light breakfast before getting the kids dressed in their dress clothes and heading off to Church.
We decided to get to Church shortly after the previous Mass let out so we could be sure to have a place to sit.  We arrived about 50 minutes early (as the parking lot was emptying out from the previous Mass) and we were comfortably seated in our normal spots by about 10:15am.  The kids watched a Pooh movie on my iPhone while we waited for Mass to start and sat like little angels the whole time!

After Mass, it was right over to the club for brunch!  Yummy!  Of course, the Bunny was there, so we got a chance for the kids to say hi, get a treat, and take photos with the Bunny.  Sarah was definitely hesitant and had to be convinced to stand anywhere near him.
Trevor was fine with being held by the Bunny!
While we were enjoying desserts, Trevor was being such a good baby that I swiped a little bite of Steve's creme brûlée to let Trevor try it!
He loved it!  The boy has good taste!

Then we all headed back to our house, changed into comfy clothes and hung out watching basketball, playing with the kids (and I even got some yard work done since we had multiple adults to keep the kids occupied).
Nanny and Grandpa brought some Easter goodies for the kids too.
Trevor didn't nap much at all on Easter, so he was pretty exhausted the next few days.  On Easter itself, he was pretty interested in trying to get into everything in the Easter baskets, on the floor, etc.  We had to keep pulling things away from him as he would nearly get into things that were choking hazards, etc.  We've gotten a bit of a better handle on the new goodies and their proximity to him over the past few days.  Yesterday, he got to explore his basket unimpeded and he thought it was great!

In other recent fun...
Nanny's birthday was 3/21 and we gathered at Michelle and Brian's house for dinner and gifts last weekend.
The kids made Nanny birthday cards.
Even Trevor made one (with help, of course).
I was busy off and on, as I was on call and my pager kept going off.  While we were getting ready to leave, I got paged again and the kids took the opportunity for a few extra minutes to rock out with Uncle Brian in the basement.

We have slowly been getting a bit of spring weather.  We have been so stir crazy with the longer winter weather, so as soon as the temps hit the 40s, we decided to get outside to play.  Trevor bundled up and rode in the Baby Bjorn carrier.  He thought it was great!
Austin took his basketball skills to the outdoor court.
And Sarah tried out Austin's old CARS bike.
The snow in these photos is now gone and we're starting to see temps creep up into the upper 40s to 50 degrees.

Before Easter came, Easter goodies from the Gramma and PopPop arrived.  The kids were so excited about them!
Trevor is definitely on the move these days.  He can get across the room in no time and gets into his big brother and big sister's things frequently.  Austin and Sarah are learning that if they don't want Trevor to chew on their toys, they need to put them away.  Here are a few random shots of Trevor when crawled over into our front hall.  We better the gates put up soon!
Grandpa came over on Saturday morning for "Donut Saturday" and stayed to play for a while.

Then Ann came over with John and Emma!  It had been WAY WAY too long since I saw Ann, so it was wonderful to catch up and have fun playing.
Austin and John had a blast on the bouncy balls.
Emma and Sarah set up some picnics.
We all had a blast and the kids were thoroughly worn out for their nap times!

And last, but not least...some fun giggling videos!  Trevor just adores his big brother and Austin can frequently make him laugh by being goofy or playing peek a boo with him.  Here's some giggles as Austin peeks out from behind Daddy.

And then from earlier today, when I changed Trevor's diaper and joked with him about how stinky it was.  Every time I would pretend to sniff the diaper and then say "Blah!" he would erupt into giggles!
