Trevor is 2 months old!

Trevor turned 2 months old today!  It seems like time is flying by and he is growing so fast!

Here is my little chunk on his changing table.

He has his 2 month old well baby check up next week and we'll get to see how much he's grown when we weigh and measure him.

At 2 months, Trevor...

- is smiling a lot more and has more of a social smile now.

- coos and "talks" to us.  I always say he's "telling me stories."

- loves to kick and move around. 

- is very strong!  He has been able to hold his head up well since he was about a week old and can stand up while being held or push his head and shoulders up when on his tummy.

- scoots himself around in his crib.  He ends up sideways or completely flipped around from where I put him down.

- sleeps in his crib now.  He hasn't used the pack and play in our room for a while (time to put it away now).
- sleeps for about a 5-7 hour stretch at night (usually early in the night, such as between about 7-9pm until about 1-2 am). Sometimes, he'll go back down for another 5 hour stretch, but it depends on the night. Sometimes he still has an hour of awake time in the middle of the night or is fussy around 2-4 am, but that is definitely getting less frequent.

- wants to be held a lot, especially during the day.  He still tends to be held for naps during the day, since he sleeps longer that way and often wakes up as soon as I put him in his crib if its not nighttime.

- takes a bunch of little naps throughout the day, but has been having more and more alert and awake time as he gets older.

- has a love/hate relationship with his pacifier.  Sometimes he really wants it and sometimes he screams if you try to offer it to him.

- eats well (can you tell from the chubby legs and double chin?) heheh.

- is working really hard at getting his thumb in his mouth to suck his thumb.  He is getting better at it, but still isn't quite there yet.

- loves his brother and sister, and is usually very patient with them when they're smothering him with kisses or wanting to hold him.

- likes his swing (usually) and is now more interested in the mobile and mirror on the top of it.

- tends to have his most fussy time in the evening, but not really "colicky".

- is such a sweet, snuggly, precious little miracle that we adore!

This past weekend we had a very busy weekend with lots of fun and family and activities, including Trevor's baptism.  I'm still working on editing and organizing photos from the weekend (there are lots), but I'll get a post about it up soon.  I just wanted to get his 2 month post up the day he turned 2 months.

Next week, he and Sarah are going to help out by being good patients for some promotional photographs being taken at my clinic. Then Trevor has his 2 month well baby checkup the next day, then Halloween the day after that.  Austin's birthday comes the following week, then I head back to work 1 week after his birthday.  Life just never slows down!
