Happy St. Patrick's Day

The kids were in green today for St. Patrick's Day.  Sarah had fun wearing her St. Patrick's Day headband and Austin kept chasing her around trying to put it back on her if it fell off.
We also have been having lots of fun lately both inside and outside.
The kids were being so good at Cub Foods the other day, that we brought home a prize - a big boucy ball.  They had a blast rolling and boucing it around together while I got their lunches ready.
Sarah would get so excited that she would clap and squeal with delight.
The weather is looking more and more like spring!  We've had temps in the mid to upper 40s and even hit 50 degrees today.  Heat wave!  We've been enjoying getting outside to play or take a walk.  Austin enjoys the puddles, mud, and shoveling/throwing the left over snow.  The other day when it was still cool enough for winter coats and hats, but warm enough to start melting the snow, we got to play with neighbors for a bit.  Here is Tammy helping Sarah ride the tricycle.  The kids just love Barry and Tammy!
While Austin was at preschool today, Sarah decided she wanted to eat her breakfast independently.  She is very good at using a spoon and actually very good at using a fork as well, but she usually doesn't want to do it all on her own.  Today, I set down her oatmeal while I got up for a moment to grab something and she happily chowed down.  I took a little video since she was doing it so well on her own.

"Mmmmmmmmmm," she says when she is particularly pleased with her meal.

And to finish up St. Patrick's Day...a gallery of silly faces!  I tried to get a photo of both of them together wearing their green, but it was tough to get then both smiling and in the frame of the camera lens at the same time.  Here is the silliness that resulted...

Sarah's "cheese" face
Austin falling over
I tried to get Sarah to laugh by going "blah!"...well she decided it was funny to imitate me.  Here is her "blah" face.
Cracking up
Austin roaring!

These 2 light up my life in so many ways!

I believe that Sarah will be driving within the next two years...with a little help from her friends.
