Friends, Bonding, Silliness, and Pigtails

We have lots of fun developments lately.  The kids continue to delight me every day with their adorable personalities and the wonderful little things they do and say.  Here is some of the last week at our house...

Ann and John came to visit last weekend.  John is getting so big!  He definitely still looks like his Mommy - check out this smile!
The boys working on sharing.  The train table was definitely a hit!
Nearing nap time...Sarah snuggling with Ann.

On to the week...
Austin succeeded in zipping up his coat all by himself.
He was very proud of his accomplishment.
Austin continues to be pretty mean to Sarah at times - knocking her down, ripping toys out of her hands, and generally antagonizing her.  However, they have totally sweet moments together too.  The other day when we got back from picking up Austin at preschool, they were holding hands by in the back seat.
Austin will also hold out his arms and say "Sarah, hug for Austin?" and Sarah will walk over and snuggle him in a big hug.  So sweet!

My little helper...
Sarah is really excited these days about helping bring in and put away the groceries.  She is absolutely determined to lift the milk out of the bag and into the fridge, even though the cartons are much too heavy for her still.
Look what I've got, Mommy!
 So heavy!

Silliness!
Austin and Sarah started blowing fish faces on the door of the sunroom/Steve's office.
They were totally cracking each other up!

This photo reminds me how fast Sarah is growing.  She look so big!
She also has recently discovered her belly button!
Austin getting in on the belly button action.
 And last but not least...
 PIGTAILS!
I found some little kid hair binders at Target and figured I would get them to use in the future when her hair is long enough for pigtails.  Tonight when getting her undressed for bathtime, I decided I would give it a try.  The result?  SO CUTE!  Oh my!

Well spring is coming...at least that's what I heard.  However, the snow and freezing temps this week would indicate otherwise.  We're looking forward to finishing up busy season in the next couple weeks (busy recently for both Steve and I at work!) and soon enjoying spring.
