Random Cuteness and a Night in the 70s

We've had a busy last couple weeks.  We have been enjoying the fall weather with some playtime outside in the afternoons.  Austin is still loving school and Sarah is getting really fast crawling and really good at standing up.  Walking is not far away.  She also has a lot more hair now and it is getting longer, so I've been using cute hair bows lately to keep her hair out of her eyes.  Here are a few cute photos from the past week...
Sarah has been having fun trying out Austin's cozy coupe.
Crawling everywhere....fast!

Also, I had a busy weekend, rounding in 2 hospitals to take care of our practice's babies in the newborn nurseries, and doing weekend clinic on Saturday.  It's my first "rouding week" so I'm still getting oriented to where to go, what charting to do at each hospital, etc.  Amidst all that, Nanny and Grandpa came over to play on Saturday evening so Steve and I could go to a party my colleagues were throwing. It had a 70s theme with 70s attire required.  Given that we weren't born yet in the 70s, we sought advice on our attire. Jenna came through with a great outfit for me and accessories for Steve.  We went as Captain and Tennille.  We had no idea who they were, but everybody at the party did.  My colleague Juli brought me a suit for Steve to wear. Her hubby got it for the party, but it didn't quite fit, so she passed it on to us.  It was great.  We looked hilarious.  Check it out. (Yes, I was pretending to sing in this photo. I know I look ridiculous. That's the idea!)

Coming soon...
The photo CD from Sarah and Austin's recent photo shoot should be arriving tomorrow.  I'll post my favorites soon.
Also, Austin's birthday is on Tuesday and we have an epic cake creation planned for his family b-day gathering next weekend. Hopefully we pull it off.
