Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Austin dressed up as a Dalmatian this year. He says he was "Jack Puppy" because Gramma and PopPop have a Dalmatian named Jack. He also has a stuffed animal Dalmatian that he calls Jack, too. After supper tonight, we got Austin in his costume and he was VERY excited to go Trick or Treating.

Checking out the kids coming to the door.
Ready to go!Jumping up and down on the stairs as he is waiting to go Trick or Treating.
Checking out our pumpkins.
Showing off the LarryBoy pumpkin Mommy made him.Off we go...Austin actually Trick or Treated for quite a while. We went much farther down the street than I thought we would and Austin enjoyed running up to the houses and knocking on the door. Sometimes he just froze. Sometimes he said "Treats, please." Sometimes he just grabbed for the candy bucket. He got LOTS of candy and enjoyed running around the neighborhood. I thought he'd be cold, but his nice thick fleece costume kept him nice and warm.

Last night we carved our pumpkins...

I made Austin a LarryBoy pumpkin. He loves Veggie Tales and especially LarryBoy, so I thought it would be fun to make his pumpkin into the LarryBoy signal from the show. I think it turned out pretty well. For those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, here is the LarryBoy signal...
(LarryBoy is the super hero version of Larry the Cucumber. He's got plungers for "super suction ears." It's really quite cute.)

I made a candy corn pumpkin, since I have been eating a fair amount of candy corn this season. Baby really likes it!Steve made a fancy haunted house.Austin got to eat some of his candy when he got home. He shoved most of a candy bar in his mouth and had chocolate all over himself. I would have taken a picture if I wasn't concerned that the chocolate would soon be all over the carpet. He ran around like a little maniac for a little while after that, then headed to the bathtub and off to bed.

I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween!
Next up for us...Austin's 3rd Birthday!
