August - Austin off to college, Trevor becomes a teenager!

We started August with Sarah getting going on her ballet solo rehearsals early, so she could be ready to compete her pointe solo at YAGP in the beginning of October!

 

Mid-August, we got Austin moved in to his dorm at Michigan Tech University! (on Steve's birthday)

Loaded up and ready to go.  We figured out we actually have more room in the minivan with the seats folded down than we did in Nanny and Grandpa's Sequoia!

We got to meet Austin's roommate Kellen and his family at the Ambassador for pizza the night before we could move the kids into the dorm.

We had to work out some different room configurations, because Austin can't loft his bed, but we managed to get all the furniture into the room.

Out to breakfast at a Finnish restaurant and bakery before dropping him off and heading home.

Sarah stayed behind for dance, but made Steve a blue shell (from Mario Kart) birthday cake to celebrate him before we left.

Trevor's birthday was a few days after we returned. He had fencing practice on his birthday, so we brought a giant cookie for his teammates to celebrate with him. 

For a birthday celebration with his friends, he opted to have 2 of his buddies go to Two Bit Game Room with him.  They have a bunch of arcade and video game systems set up and you can play as much as you want for a few hours. 

The resident cat there LOVED Trevor and climbed up in his lap while he was playing.

We celebrated as a family too.

Now all 3 Cronk kiddos are teenagers!

Trevor received a LEGO ship for his birthday and had it put together pretty quickly.

On to the start of the school year next...
