Basketball

I realized that I forgot to post photos of Austin's basketball season. We expected it to finish up with the state tournament, but it was cancelled due to COVID-19, so the season ended abruptly.  He had a good season.  He developed a lot as a player, enjoyed playing a point guard position, and had a great team to play with.  In the past, he has been playing under the basket, as he was 2nd tallest on his short team. However, he is only 50th percentile in height and so being under the basket is not the best spot for him. This year, he had a different mix of players on his team and he got to be a point guard instead of under the basket. He enjoyed it and was able to develop his shooting more throughout the season. It was a bummer to end the season the way they did, but he's lucky he got most of his season (soccer and Sarah's dance seasons are getting moved back, hopefully not cancelled).

Here are some photos of Austin's season...
Celebrating a good shot!
We started with the Early Bird tournament in Rochester and got to meet up with Jeff and his girls for lunch at Potbelly.

 It is hard being shorter.

Trevor had his "Little Dribblers" season and Austin volunteered to help the kids learn basketball. Trevor had lots of fun!
On to soccer (hopefully) if the season is not cancelled.
