We spent spring break hanging around home, going to soccer and dance as usual, with a few fun things added in here and there.
First, we saw Corduroy at Children's Theater Company on Saturday. It was so fun!
Trevor laughed so hard, he wet his pants a little. He told the actors that when the kids got autographs after the show and they thought it was great!
Sunday we got a little down time. On Monday, all 3 kids had dentist appointments, then Sarah had ballet and Austin had soccer in the evening, so we kept busy! On Tuesday, Sarah had an appointment with a pediatric allergist due to her shellfish allergy. About a month ago, she had another reaction to shrimp (which she hadn't had since she was about 18 months old). She got VERY sick despite a medication to stop the vomiting and it was absolutely awful! She recovered well, but we now have learned more about it with her visit to the allergist and we know that she will NOT outgrow her allergy. It is not a typical food allergy that you need EpiPen for, but if she does eat shellfish accidentally in the future, she has to go right to the hospital to get IV fluids and medications. Sarah also had dance on Tuesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, we had no sports or appointments scheduled, so we took some time to get the kids' passport applications turned in (you have to have both parents present to do so) and then spent the afternoon enjoying the new pool at the Shakopee Community Center.
Nanny came over after Trevor's swim lessons on Thursday and helped me organize our guest bedroom in the basement that had become a catchall for unorganized stuff - wrapping paper, boxes, bows, winter coats, Sarah's old dance costumes, sleeping bags, blankets, etc. It is now beautifully organized! Yay! So nice to get that done!
On Friday, the boys got hair cuts and we enjoyed some library time.
This boy loves any book with a shark in it!
On Saturday, Sarah had fun with her dance team friend and her school classmates at Adalyn's birthday party at Bowlero.
While Sarah was at her party, the boys and I went out for lunch and ran some errands. We went to Planet Soccer to get Austin fitted for new soccer cleats for this season. He went from a size 6 (that he has been wearing to winter training even this past week) to a size 8.5!!! He is now in men's soccer cleats! Wow has this boy grown!Easter Sunday, we got up early to enjoy an Easter egg hunt before heading off to Mass and brunch.
Let the hunt begin...
Easter baskets full of goodies!
Happy Easter from the Cronks!
Yummy brunch at Olympic Hills

Nanny got the kids some super fun gifts and Trevor was VERY excited about his shark blanket!
Aaaaah! A shark is eating my baby!
On Monday, the kids headed back to school, but between Monday and Tuesday afternoon, we got about 6 inches or so of snow and the kids got a snow day in April! They were excited to have Tuesday off, but the rest of us were not so excited for a snow storm in April. When is spring going to arrive? Flu season is waning, tax season is almost over, and we're getting ready for soccer season and dance competitions to get into full swing. Craziness lies ahead!
