Family Reunion at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge

The week began with our National Night Out party (on Tuesday) and ended with a great family reunion weekend. 

Trevor was really excited to climb into the fire truck at our National Night Out party.  He talked about it the rest of the night.

Kevin, Keng, and Owen arrived on Wednesday evening.

Theo got to meet them on Thursday, then everybody headed over to our house for some play time while I was at work. 

Thursday evening, we had a family photo shoot with Tracie Bea Photographie and got some great photos (the previews are fabulous so far!).

Then on Friday, we headed north to Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge for a weekend of fun!

Trevor had a blast watching movies in the car on the way there.

He didn't want Grandpa to help, though, and kept pushing his hand off the steering wheel.

Tubing!

We didn't plan on Trevor wanting to go tubing, but when he saw the big kids getting ready to get on the tube, he begged to go too!

Apparently, the boat puts Trevor to sleep.  He would have fun on the boat, drive with Grandpa, go tubing, etc. but then as soon as he was tired, he would lie down on my chest and fall asleep almost immediately.

Theo hung out back at the cabin with a rotating crew.  Austin loves getting a turn to hold him.

The kids also had fun playing in the sand table Nanny brought.

Then back out on the water on Saturday for more fun.  Michael let us borrow one of his jet skis and it was in near constant use.  Once again, Trevor was not to be left out.  He rode the jet ski with Daddy for a short ride.

The big kids had more fun tubing.

And Owen hung out on the boat.

We also got Trevor and Owen to go tubing together with Nanny and Kevin.

Your eyes do not deceive you...not only does the boat put Trevor to sleep, but apparently so does tubing!  I can't believe he actually fell asleep on the tube! Poor baby must have been really tired!

After an unsuccessful attempt at getting him to nap back at the cabin, I figured the boat would do and I brought him back on the boat for an assured nap!

But had a fall that I somehow captured right in the middle of his wipeout!

The kids had a blast going way too fast on the jet ski with Uncle Kevin!

Owen eventually succumbed to fatigue on the boat too.

Sunday was rainy, but we enjoyed a nice breakfast, got everything packed back up, and had our stop at the ice cream shop before heading home.

Lots of great family memories made!  Thanks for the great trip, Nanny and Grandpa!  Hopefully, we'll get to see Kevin, Keng, and Owen again before another year passes.
