At 3 months old, Trevor...
- is growing fast. He is definitely getting heavy to carry, but he loves to be held, so we are building our arm muscles! He eats like a champ!
- smiles a lot! He especially loves to smile at his big brother.
- is cooing and talking a lot more. During the ND vs. USC game, he was particularly chatty when we paused the game for a minute, and I swear he said "GO IRISH!" That's my boy!
- likes to hug his toys and chew on them. He loves the dinosaur toy, the lots of legs spider, and his rattles. His big brother and sister like to show him toys, though Sarah misjudges distance sometimes and smacks him in the face with a rattle.
- still likes his pacifier, but doesn't want it as often. He likes his pacifier when he is tired and snuggled in to fall asleep, but when awake and happy, he doesn't want it.
- is really getting into chewing on his hands. He doesn't really suck his thumb much, but he loves to get his thumbs in his mouth and gnaw on them. I think he may turn out to be a thumb sucker, but we'll see.
- doesn't nap well in his crib. He wants to be held for naps and we have tended to acquiesce. He'll go down in his crib and sleep for about 30-40 minutes at most during the day, but if he is held, he'll take a good 2 hour nap.
- goes down in his crib at night and sleeps up to 6-8 hours at a stretch, but still variable on when those stretches are. He tends to be up late and sleeps off and on between 9 and midnight, but then will typically go down for the night by sometime between midnight and 2am then sleep until 6-8am. This is still quite variable though, so he hasn't really settled in a true schedule yet.
- is still not a fan of his carseat. He'll tolerate it and is generally pretty good in the car, but he definitely fusses in his carseat and makes his displeasure known before he gives up and takes a nap or waits until we reach our destination. Unlike Sarah, who would stay in her carseat and look around when we went shopping for groceries and such, Trevor wants out of his carseat as soon as we get in the store, and I end up carrying him with one arm while pushing the cart with the other most of the time.
On to the photos! Trevor had his 3 month photos taken a couple weeks early (November 10) and Sarah and Austin got in on the action too!
My 3 little miracles!
Trevor is not so thrilled about this photo, as he would rather eat the furry mat he's on, but it's cute anyway.
My big kids.

And my chunky little peanut
We kept having to pull Trevor's hands down out of his mouth to see his sweet smile. Here you can see both thumbs headed back to his mouth. hehehe.
Big brother Austin
Six years old!
Big sister Sarah!
Two years old.
(I love how she holds up 2 fingers!)
Sitting up so well (with pretty impressive head control for a 2 month old).
Getting some tired eyes near the end...
Absolutely adorable!
Some more recent photos and adventures...
Big sister Sarah loves to hold her baby brother.
Trevor has a really strong neck and does a great job holding his head and shoulders up off the floor when he is on his tummy. I keep trying to catch a good picture of him on his tummy, but every time I try it, he is too interested in the camera or he wants to eat his hands instead.
He loves to hug his toys. Here he's chewing on the legs of his spider toy.
And smiling with his dinosaur.
Smiley baby!
GO IRISH!
We've been having fun watching the ND football games with Nanny and Grandpa.
My little Irish fan with Grandpa...
And Sarah and Austin sporting their jerseys with Nanny.
Story time before bed.
Trevor snuggly in his carseat, totally asleep!
Austin lost a tooth for the first time!
He was very excited and the tooth fairy left him a $2 bill under his pillow.
Thanksgiving was relatively quiet this year. Michelle and Brian are out of town, Kevin and Keng stayed home in California for Thanksgiving, and Nanny was under orders to rest her legs this week, so Grandpa and I made Thanksgiving dinner for just the 7 of us...I guess the 6 of us (Trevor isn't quite ready for turkey yet!).
Sarah was excited that she got to help Grandpa beat the mashed potatoes.
The day after Thanksgiving, we did NOT go shopping. Trevor turned 3 months old. I was at work during the daylight hours, so I didn't get a chance to take a photo in his chair, but we got Trevor's monthly rocking chair photo a day late.
3 months old!
Cracking up!
What a sweet little face!
