Sarah just turned 15 months old on Tuesday. She is growing so fast!
- Had her checkup today with Dr. Judy. She is growing quite well. She is now 26 pounds 10 ounces (92nd percentile), has a head circumference of 19 inches (96th percentile), and is now 33.3 inches tall (99th percentile, average height of a 22 month old!).
- Walks, runs, and climbs on everything she can find.
- Sleeps well at night (though she seems to fuss the minute my head hits the pillow most nights - some kind of weird 6th sense). She still takes 2 naps during the day, though we may lose the morning nap in the next few months.
- Talks up a storm - only sometimes with an understandable word in there. She is also VERY loud at times, though I suppose that is so she can be heard over her brother. She says things like "uh-oh!" "wow!" "baby" "duck" "Daddy" and "Nana" or "nana" for Nanny and banana respectively.
- She loves to color/scribble.
- Her favorite books are "B is for Bear," "Dancing Duck," "On the Night You Were Born," "Ten Little Ladybugs," "Goodnight Moon," and "Jesus Loves Me."
- She makes a funny “cheese” face when she sees me taking her picture with the camera.
- Loves her shoes and always wants to wear her hats.
- Likes to sit on the tricycle and get pushed around.
- Loves to play outside and push the cozy coupe around the driveway.
- Loves to "help" bring in the groceries.
- Feeds herself with a fork and spoon and wants whatever is on everybody else's plates.
- Can point to her nose, mouth, eyes, fingers, toes, and belly button.
