Austin decided it was fun to climb up a stair, sit on it sideways, and then fall to the ground and say "Go Boom!" The only problem is that he then decided to climb up a couple more stairs and jump off. He was just too cute to get too mad at him.
Spikey Hair
After Austin's bath tonight, we brushed his teeth, then pulled off his towel hoodie to brush his hair. When I pulled back the hood on the towel, his hair spiked up and he thought it was hilarious! I spiked it up again and he giggled more and more. This went on for a while, so I called to Steve to get the video camera.
Christmas Marching Band
We've got a stuffed animal moving Christmas marching band consisting of a conductor, a Santa playing french horn, a reindeer playing trumpet, and a bear playing the drum. They dance and play music. Austin loved them as a newborn for his first Christmas and last year when he turned one. When we got them out this year, he was scared of them at first, but quickly warmed up to them. He thinks the reindeer is "Christmas puppy" and gives the "Christmas puppy" and bear kisses and says "puppy dancing" and "bear dancing" when they play and dance. He was excitedly giving them kisses and narrating who was dancing...until of course, we got out the video camera. Then he got shy...but it's still cute to see him mesmerized by them.

Sledding!
Hope you enjoyed the photos and vidoes. We love watching Austin discover new things to be excited about. It really is the little things in life that can bring joy if you see them through the eyes of a child.
