Our Trevor turned 9 on August 23rd!
At 9 years old, Trevor:
- is 54.5 inches tall (77.8 percentile), weighs 65.8 pounds (59.5 percentile), and has BMI of 15.57 (36th percentile). He's getting a little skinnier overall.
- is SUCH a creative kid! He has an amazing imagination and creates so many fun things to play! He writes his own newspaper (The Daily Rat) based off the adventures his stuffed rat (Scabbers from Harry Potter, renamed Wiggles for Trevor's stuffy). His newspapers have illustrations and even advertisements included! He is a wonder with LEGOs and likes to take the broken apart or extra pieces and make his own creations. He builds castles and ships out of cardboard, construction paper, Magnatiles, and LEGOs. He made up his own play with his stuffed animals and performed it with lighting and musical accompaniment by Sarah on the keyboard. He LOVES tape! I need to buy stock in 3M with how much scotch tape this kid goes through! He loves the art kit we got him for Christmas and we are constantly finding shards of paper, crayons, colored pencils and various creations all over the house.
- has been reading the "How to Train Your Dragon" books. He received some gift cards for his birthday, and with his gift cards, he decided to order 3 stuffed animal dragons from the "How to Train Your Dragon" series. He was SO excited and set up a hatchery in the playroom, complete with big plastic dragon eggs. He tracked his package while waiting for his eggs to hatch. When the packages arrived, he was ecstatic that it was "Hatch Day"!
- loves to dress up and wear a suit and tie!
- plays recreational flag football and travel soccer this fall, and recreational basketball in the winter. He loves to play goalkeeper in soccer and is getting pretty good at it!
- is a smart kid and excels at school. He is going into 3rd grade this year.
- has such a big heart! He feels big emotions and has lots of love to share!
- has been interested in archery lately and asked for a "Robin Hood" themed birthday party.
