Trevor turned 8 on August 23rd!

At 8 years old, Trevor:
- weighs 60.6 pounds (65th percentile), is 52.25 inches tall (78.6 percentile), and has a BMI of 15.6 (45th percentile). He is tracking well on his growth curve about where Austin did.
- is still spunky, smart, spirited, funny, creative, and VERY active!
- has 3 head scars from stapled head lacerations by now.
- did well with 1st grade, even when it became distance learning in March. He will be starting 2nd grade soon!
- is learning to play piano and is very good at sounding out songs he wants to play, even ones that seem beyond the level he is learning in his lessons.
- played soccer at the recreational level this summer, but is moving up to the competitive level for fall and spring 2020-21.
- likes to play flag football, but it was cancelled this year due to COVID. He did have a little flag football summer camp he enjoyed, as well as basketball camp.
- is good at reading and is really into mysteries right now.
- likes to dress up in costumes and make elaborate pretend scenarios and creative set ups in the playroom.
- stills asks me every night to snuggle with him, rub his back, and sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and gives me hugs before I leave for work every morning.
Trevor is really into mysteries and detectives right now, so we had a detective themed birthday for him. We didn't have a party due to the pandemic, but we did have Nanny and Grandpa over for dinner and cake.

His cake has a real magnifying glass checking out some fingerprints, a "Top Secret" notebook with a secret message written inside, and a secret spy pen with invisible ink and a light to make the ink appear.
Inside the notebook was "Happy Birthday Trevor" written with his spy pen.

We didn't realize we had put re-lighting candles on the cake! Oops!
Spy party gifts

Working on the LEGO pirate ship Gramma and PopPop sent him.

Love the card Nanny made him!
Happy Birthday Trevor!!
