4th of July weekend fun on the St. Croix!

On Saturday, July 2nd, we spent a fun family day at Jenna and Michael's beach on the St. Croix.  We got to see family and friends, play on the beach, swim, paddleboat, jet ski, and enjoy the gorgeous weather!

The kids were excited to ride in the little car to get down to the beach from the cabin.

(OK, so I feel really old.  Lizzie, the 3rd gorgeous lady in the photo above was our flower girl in our wedding 12 years ago! Elizabeth, the 4th gorgeous lady in the photo is my younger cousin who I was a summer nanny for when she was little, and who now has a baby of her own - adorable Miss Finlay)

Elizabeth and Finlay were able to come up from Arizona to join us.

We had lots of fun in the water and on the beach.

Finlay loved giving her cousins hugs.  She would grab a kid walking by and pull him or her in for a hug.

 We enjoyed some yummy dinner...

Then we celebrated Alexis's birthday with a pretty impressive spinning blooming flower candle that sang "Happy Birthday"!

It is always so much fun when we get to spend time with family!  Thanks to Jenna and Michael and Alexis for hosting us all at the river.
