9 months old!

My baby girl is 9 months old already!  She turned 9 months old on Tuesday.  She is growing up so fast!  Slow down, please.

About Sarah now...

- She is wearing size 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers.

- She has finally stopped peeing through her diaper and jammies multiple times per night.

- She is a good eater and doesn't spit food at me as much as she used to.

- She is eating #2 baby foods, oatmeal cereal, and just started #3 foods. She is nursing still, but starting to lose interest in milk either via breast or bottle.

- She crawls really fast and climbs the steps out of the playroom.

- She pulls up on furniture and cruises.

- She walks if I hold her hands.

- She talks, babbles, and squeals with glee.

- She LOVES to wave to people (and it is SO cute!).

- She adores Austin, even though he is really rough with her at times (knocks her over, steps on her, hits her with toys, takes toys away, etc).  She's going to have to be tough to grow up with him around.

- She has 2 teeth on the bottom and is working on a couple on the top.

- She loves to pull off her socks and chew on them.  She got used to not having socks on over the summer, so now it is a battle to get her to keep them on.

- She sleeps on her tummy with her butt up in the air.

- She has a blast playing in the play room, but seems to go straight for the toys she is not supposed to play with (Austin's toys that have parts too small for her).

- She gives wet sloppy drooly kisses.

- She loves to be read to (until she decides it is time to chew on the book).

- She sleeps well usually, though she has been taking shorter naps lately and has been fussing off and on at night.

- She is as precious as ever and growing so fast!  She is developing quite the little personality and we treasure watching her develop.

She has her 9 month check up in a couple weeks when Austin has his 4 year old checkup, so we'll update her stats (height, weight, head circumference) after that. 

More cuteness...

Sarah recently was sitting with Mommy after dinner when she snatched my cookie right out of my hand and enjoyed gnawing on it.  I was eating a Keebler Fudge Stick (grandpa's favorite) and she decided they're delicious.

 Hmmm...what is the yummy stuff inside?

 Sarah has been more and more interested in the kitchen toy in the playroom. It is adjustable to be shorter or taller. We had it on the tall setting for Austin to play with over the past years, but now that Sarah is pulling herself up on it, we adjusted it to the lower setting so she and Austin could both play with it.  They had lots of fun together...
